Confirm that the release includes 1.21.8. Remove older or newer Zoomify JARs from the active mods folder instead of keeping several versions together.
Launch with minimal mods
Test Zoomify with only required dependencies. Verify C or your custom key, Scroll Zoom and the settings command before restoring the full mod list.
Keep configuration changes controlled
If the mod loads but feels wrong, reset or adjust one option at a time. Start with zoom level, transition duration and relative sensitivity, then review hand FOV and view bobbing.
