“Zoomify mod Forge” is a common search, but compatibility should be answered from the official platform list rather than from file names on re-upload sites. Current official project pages identify Fabric and Quilt. They do not list Forge or NeoForge as supported Zoomify platforms. That means a standard Fabric build should not be treated as a Forge mod.
Official loader status
The project is presented as a client-side utility for Fabric and Quilt. A genuine release normally declares the loader it targets. If Forge or NeoForge is not listed for that file, assume it is incompatible rather than experimenting in an important modpack.
Why a Fabric JAR cannot simply load in Forge
Fabric and Forge use different loader APIs, metadata and initialization systems. Changing the filename or placing the JAR into a Forge mods folder does not convert the code. The game may ignore the file or stop with a loader error.
