A non-working Zoomify key is usually caused by one of four issues: the default C key conflicts with another action, the mod did not load, the file does not match the game version, or the current settings changed the activation behavior. Start with Controls before replacing files, because the official documentation specifically warns about key conflicts.
Check for a red C key
Open Options and Controls, search Zoomify and inspect the assigned key. A red entry means another action uses the same key. Assign a unique key, save and test again.
Confirm Zoomify actually loaded
Open the installed-mod list if available or try the /zoomify client command. If the command is unknown and no Zoomify controls appear, the mod may not be in the active profile.
Verify the loader and version
Official listings identify Fabric and Quilt. A Forge profile will not load a standard Fabric build. Also confirm the full Minecraft patch number is supported.
Remove duplicate or wrong files
Keep one compatible Zoomify JAR in the profile. Remove the GitHub source ZIP, old versions and unrelated ports from the mods folder.
Reset the relevant settings
If the key is present but behavior is unexpected, review activation, zoom level and secondary zoom. Use a preset or configuration reset only after backing up any custom values.
