There is no single best Zoomify configuration because exploration, building and video recording need different camera behavior. The most reliable method is to begin with a moderate zoom, a short smooth transition and relative sensitivity, then create a separate profile for cinematic work. The settings below are practical starting points rather than universal rules.

Everyday exploration

Use a moderate zoom range, a quick ease-out transition and relative sensitivity. Keep view bobbing reduced rather than completely disabled if you still want movement feedback. Scroll Zoom can provide extra reach only when needed.

Building and detail inspection

Choose slower camera sensitivity and a smaller zoom range to avoid overshooting block details. Turning off Affect Hand FOV can keep the held item visually stable while the world view changes.

Content creation

Use Secondary Zoom, longer zoom-in and zoom-out times, Cinematic Camera and Hide HUD While Zooming. Test several transition curves; slower exponential or sine easing can feel polished but may be too delayed for normal play.

Spyglass-centered play

Enable the option that requires holding or carrying a spyglass if you want zoom to remain connected to an in-game item. Add the overlay and sound only when they support the intended visual style.

A simple tuning method

Change one option, test for a minute, then continue. Start with magnification, then transition duration, sensitivity, bobbing and cosmetic effects. Save a preset before making large changes so rollback is easy.
